Student Action for Refugees - Yorkshire and the Humber

There are four STAR groups in Yorkshire and the Humber including Leeds, Sheffield, and York, and Bradford.

University of Leeds (Leeds STAR)

At Leeds STAR, we support many different local organisations by volunteering – including conversation clubs and a bike project where we refurbish and distribute bikes to refugees and people seeking asylum in the community. Reach out to us on Instagram!

University of Sheffield (Sheffield STAR)

Sheffield STAR works to help build a community on campus and the local area where refugees are welcomed and can thrive in the UK. We work with are large number of local charities, provide volunteering opportunities and set up multiple exciting fundraisers including music events and bake stalls.
