Student Action for Refugees

There are four STAR groups in the West Midlands including Birmingham, Warwick, WMS, and BCU.

University of Birmingham (Birmingham STAR)

At STAR Birmingham, we run regular activities including English lessons, a film project and a women’s project, as well as participating in STAR national campaigns and raising awareness of refugee issues in Birmingham and the UK. Follow us on Instagram for more info!

University of Warwick (Warwick STAR)

At Warwick STAR, we run weekly volunteering sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays when we teach English and help with university applications. We also host regular socials and campaigning events for our members. Feel free to contact us via email, or check out our Instagram!

Warwick Medical School (WMS STAR)
