At Nottingham STAR we run weekly conversation classes to support refugees and people seeking asylum with English learning and community integration. We also work to fundraise for local charities and organisations supporting refugees as well as hosting events for students and volunteers! Loughborough STAR volunteer, fundraise and generally raise awareness for the refugee and asylum seeker cause, both in and for our local community as well as more widely. We have various activities like film screenings or discussion groups.
