Create by Phoebe Boakye-Yiadom, Bristol STAR
STAR Bristol has recently launched a Wellbeing Action Toolkit, a resource designed to
support the mental health and wellbeing of members and campaigners. Here’s a link to
the Instagram post where you can find the full toolkit.
Why Wellbeing Matters at STAR
At STAR, our members, volunteers, and campaigners work closely with people from
asylum-seeking backgrounds. While this work is incredibly meaningful, it can also be
emotionally demanding. That’s why prioritising mental health is essential. We want to
ensure that our community remains compassionate, resilient, and empowered to make
a difference.
What’s Inside the Toolkit?
The STAR Bristol Wellbeing Action Toolkit helps to provide support by:
✔️ Signposting to key support services
✔️ Offering resources on wellbeing and self-care
✔️ Providing resources that are tailored to the needs of ethnic minorities
Signs You May Need Support
